Job summary

C.H. Guenther & Son is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician in Dallas, TX to perform preventive maintenance on production machinery, diagnose issues, and ensure sanitation and safety compliance in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, PLC/SCADA/HMI proficiency, and the ability to document work orders while coordinating with cross-functional teams. Willingness to work non-standard hours as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; technical schooling preferred.
5 years’ related experience in industrial manufacturing environment, preferably in an automated food processing plant.
5 years’ experience troubleshooting and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance on production machinery including conveyors, mixers, packaging equipment, and refrigeration.
Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
Maintain sanitation and safety compliance in the production area.
Coordinate with supervision to prioritize maintenance tasks.
Document maintenance work orders and parts replacements.
