Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced sales leader for an expatriate role in Japan. You will directly sell mission-critical communications to US DoD accounts, build trusted advisor relationships, and orchestrate cross-functional teams to win major opportunities.

The role requires a strong technical background in RF and public safety software, excellent communication, and a proven track record of closing large deals. Relocation for 3+ years is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years in sales/public safety/military or 8+ years in same area.
• Technical background in RF comms and public safety software (CAD/RMS/E911/Video) preferred.
• Experience selling into DoD or Federal agencies and strong written/oral skills.
• Familiar with IP networking, information assurance, and cyber security a plus.
• Ability to work remotely and travel 50–75%.

Responsibilities

• Direct sales of communications systems to US DoD accounts in the Eastern US.
• Identify customer needs and map Motorola portfolio to opportunities.
• Build relationships and advise customers with company strategy and tools.
• Coordinate internal and partner resources to meet key account needs.
• Travel up to 50–75% as required.
