Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced sales leader for an expatriate role located in Japan. You will direct sales of communications systems to U.S. DoD accounts, build deep customer relationships, and coordinate with internal and external teams to align solutions with mission requirements.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in sales, a technical background (RF, CAD/RMS/E911), and a proven track record of closing major deals. Travel up to 75% is required; relocation for 3 years is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years in sales, customer success, public safety or military experience.
• Experience closing major sales and working with DoD or federal agencies.
• Strong communication, writing, and proposal skills; knowledge of Salesforce.com and Google tools.

Responsibilities

• Direct sales of communications systems to U.S. DoD accounts in Eastern US region.
• Develop account strategies and act as trusted adviser to customers and partners.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to meet key accounts.
• Occasionally travel and lead cross-functional teams to meet customer needs.
