Job summary

Goodwill Central Texas seeks a Strategic Projects Coordinator to lead planning and execution of expansion projects from approval to handoff. You’ll translate priorities into clear plans, coordinate owners, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure readiness criteria are met.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, maintain governance, and drive continuous improvements across expansion initiatives and regional partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, education, organizational leadership, project management, or related field.
• Three years of progressively responsible experience in project management, program management, strategic operations, organizational implementation, or related field.
• Experience leading complex projects through full lifecycle including scope, planning, execution, monitoring, handoff and evaluation.
• Experience coordinating multi-workstream timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder commitments.
• Ability to coordinate and influence cross functional teams without direct supervisory authority.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and project management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Draft project charters for Senior Director approval defining scope, timelines, owners, budgets and success measures.
• Build and maintain integrated project plans across all workstreams.
• Develop governance structures, reporting cadence, decision points, and escalation protocols.
• Maintain risk, issue, dependency, and decision logs.
• Coordinate due diligence and expansion readiness through established gates and approvals.
• Coordinate regulatory milestones for assigned projects with appropriate leaders.
