The Atlantic District in Newport News is seeking an energetic Expansion Agent who enjoys community engagement and serving neighbors. You will reach out to local residents and businesses to understand their coverage needs, then design tailored insurance solutions that protect what matters most.

Work with a supportive office team, manage your own pipeline, and participate in local events to grow a trusted client base in Virginia.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Property & Casualty insurance license.
• Documented track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals in the insurance sector.
• Skilled in explaining complex policy details clearly and simply.
• Local knowledge of the Newport News area and surrounding communities.
• Strong proficiency in navigating digital agency management systems and lead tracking software.
• Experience building new client pipelines from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Proactively reach out to local residents and businesses to discuss their coverage needs.
• Design customized insurance solutions that protect our neighbors effectively.
• Manage your own pipeline and nurture leads through the entire conversion process.
• Represent The Atlantic District at local community events and build a strong professional network.
• Review existing policies periodically to ensure clients remain properly protected as their lives change.
• Collaborate with our office team to ensure smooth onboarding and stellar ongoing service for every person you bring on board.
