Qualifications

• Active Virginia Property and Casualty insurance license.
• 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in insurance/financial services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute local outreach strategies to connect with families and businesses in the Fredericksburg area.
• Conduct thorough needs assessments to ensure every client has the exact coverage they need for their specific situation.
• Maintain an active presence in the local community to build long-term trust and brand visibility.
• Manage your own pipeline of prospects, from the initial conversation to finalizing the protection plan.
• Collaborate with our internal underwriting and service teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new clients.
• Review existing client accounts regularly to suggest improvements or adjustments as their lives change.

Requirements

• Active Virginia Property and Casualty insurance license.
• Three or more years of experience in sales, ideally within the insurance or financial services sector.
• Strong comfort level with consultative selling and building portfolios from the ground up.
• Excellent ability to explain complex policy details in plain, easy-to-understand language.
• A genuine desire to help community members in Fredericksburg protect what matters most to them.
• Proficiency in standard office software and agency management systems.
