Job summary

Ruth’s Chris Steak House in Austin is seeking an experienced restaurant leader to manage front-of-house operations, guest relations, and staff development. You will drive service excellence while controlling costs and evaluating daily and weekly performance.

Ideal candidates bring upscale dining experience, strong leadership, and a passion for hospitality. A hospitality degree and relevant certifications will help, with opportunities for growth and development within the brand.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading a high-volume, upscale concept restaurant.
• Wine knowledge preferred; sommelier experience a plus.
• Servsafe Food and Alcohol certification preferred.
• Culinary experience or training a plus; strong business education is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate all front-of-house operations to deliver a superior guest experience.
• Set and achieve budgeted sales and profit levels; monitor results against budgets.
• Recruit, hire, and train restaurant personnel; conduct annual performance reviews.
• Foster community relationships to build brand awareness and attract guests.
• Lead weekly manager meetings; review staffing and development needs.
• Ensure adherence to brand standards and safety requirements.
