Job summary

YMCA of the Suncoast in Largo, FL seeks an Executive Program Director to lead the Greater Ridgecrest branch, oversee staff and volunteers, manage budgets, and drive program development. The role focuses on fiscal accountability, high-quality services, and community impact.

The position reports to the Senior Vice President/COO, with responsibilities across leadership, strategic planning, and partnership building to advance the YMCA mission in Healthy Living, Youth Development, and Social

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services, social services, business or equivalent preferred.
• 4+ years of YMCA Branch experience preferred.
• Ability to direct total operations through volunteer development, supervision of staff, development and monitoring of branch budget, marketing and public relations, and program development.
• YMCA Multi-Team or Branch Leader certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and administer total operation of the branch including interpretation and execution of established policies and procedures.
• Plan and conduct a wide variety of programs and activities to maximize facilities, support the Cause and enhance membership.
• Create a nurturing and safe environment and ensure safety and maintenance of facilities, grounds, and equipment.
• Promote and monitor membership growth and lead membership cultivation.
• Recruit, hire, supervise and develop department staff and volunteers.
• Coordinate the development of the branch board and committees; direct volunteer activities.
• Prepare annual budget for approval by the Senior Vice President/COO and manage expenditures.
• Represent and promote the YMCA in the local community and foster collaborations with community organizations.
