Job summary

CoreSite is seeking a Vice President, Legal - Mergers & Acquisitions to lead the legal aspects of strategic transactions, including acquisitions, joint ventures, and related agreements across data centers and digital infrastructure.

The role collaborates with executive leadership, reports to the SVP and General Counsel, and requires a proven track record with large transactions, strong negotiation, and risk management in a hybrid work environment with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
• 5+ years of legal experience in M&A and corporate transactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead all legal aspects of acquisitions, mergers, and strategic transactions.
• Structure and negotiate purchase agreements, merger agreements, JV agreements, investment agreements, and ancillary transaction documents.
• Lead legal due diligence efforts and manage transaction risk assessments.
• Advise executives on transaction structure and protections.
• Manage outside counsel and cross-functional stakeholders through closing.
