Job summary

Optomi, in partnership with a leading organization in the Chicago area, is seeking a Senior Manager/Director for Executive IT Support. The role provides white-glove IT and AV support to C-suite executives and senior leaders in a high-profile Chicago office.

The position combines hands-on troubleshooting, conference room management, and leadership of a small desk-side/AV team. Board meetings and executive events are core responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience supporting C-suite/SVPs in white-glove IT environments.
• Senior-level experience in Executive IT Support, Deskside Support, or End User Computing.
• Strong troubleshooting across Windows and Mac.
• Experience with enterprise collaboration tools (Teams/Zoom).
• Solid AV and conference room technology experience.
• Prior leadership or supervision of a small desktop/AV team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary IT point of contact for C-suite executives, SVPs, and senior leadership.
• Provide white-glove support and personally troubleshoot complex hardware, software, connectivity, and collaboration issues.
• Lead IT and AV support for Board meetings, executive conferences, and high-visibility events.
• Conduct conference room and office technology checks to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Lead and provide direction to a small team of desk-side and AV support professionals.
• Partner with AV resources to ensure conference rooms and meeting technology are fully operational.
• Establish and maintain a high standard of executive IT support and service delivery.
• Remain hands-on and serve as the escalation point for critical technical issues.
