Job summary

Ascent Hospitality Management is seeking an Executive Housekeeper for Home2 Suites by Hilton Montgomery to lead the Housekeeping department and ensure guest suites and public areas meet Hilton standards. You will guide and support the team, coordinate daily operations, and uphold cleanliness, organization, and quality across all spaces while maintaining brand guidelines and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel housekeeping experience; supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of guest-room and public-area cleaning practices.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and team leadership skills.
• A guest-focused mindset with commitment to cleanliness and quality.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and support team members.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the daily operations of the Housekeeping department.
• Assign room-cleaning and public-area tasks based on occupancy, staffing, and operational needs.
• Inspect guest suites and public areas to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation meet hotel and brand standards.
• Coach, train, and support Room Attendants, House Attendants, and other Housekeeping team members.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, attendance tracking, and performance feedback.
• Monitor room status and communicate updates with the Front Desk and other departments.
• Respond to guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Track linens, cleaning supplies, amenities, and equipment; help maintain appropriate inventory levels.
• Coordinate the reporting and follow-up of maintenance issues, safety concerns, and damaged items.
• Help ensure cleaning products and equipment are used, stored, and maintained safely.
• Support department budgeting and help monitor labor, supply costs, and productivity.
• Assist with deep-cleaning schedules, preventive maintenance coordination, and special projects.
• Maintain accurate housekeeping records, checklists, and reports.
• Follow Hilton brand standards, company policies, and applicable health and safety procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
