Job summary

Ascent Hospitality is seeking an Executive Housekeeper in Montgomery, AL. This leadership role directs housekeeping operations for guest rooms, public areas, and the laundry department while collaborating with maintenance and front desk teams to sustain superior guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory or managerial experience.
• Hotel experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to supervise and plan activities of others.
• Ability to manage conflicts in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness and product quality standards for guest rooms, public spaces, and offices.
• Lead housekeeping operations including budgeting, inventory, policy enforcement and scheduling.
• Monitor team performance and provide coaching and recognition.
• Recruit, interview and train team members.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Oversee Laundry operations and equipment maintenance.
• Manage inventory of supplies and proper storage.
• Report Lost and Found items and maintain logs.
• Ensure storage areas are secured and sheets submitted to front desk.
• Maintain cleanliness of public hotel areas and guest rooms.
