Ascent Hospitality—home to Home2 Suites by Hilton Montgomery—seeks an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in daily hotel operations and guest experiences. This role partners with departments to maintain brand standards, drive financial performance, and nurture a high-performing team.

The ideal candidate collaborates across teams, resolves issues promptly, and fosters a guest-focused culture while upholding safety and company policies.

Formación

• Previous hotel or hospitality experience; supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable respectfully.

Responsabilidades

• Support the General Manager in overseeing the hotel’s daily operations and service delivery.
• Help lead, coach, and support department leaders and team members.
• Promote a positive, respectful, and guest-focused team culture.
• Monitor guest feedback and help resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Help ensure the hotel meets Hilton brand standards, company policies, and applicable safety requirements.
• Work with department leaders to maintain clean, safe, comfortable, and well-functioning guest rooms and public spaces.
• Assist with monitoring labor, expenses, supplies, and other operating costs.
• Support the development and achievement of hotel revenue, occupancy, and guest-satisfaction goals.
• Review operational reports and communicate important updates or concerns to the General Manager.
• Help coordinate maintenance, housekeeping, front desk, breakfast, and other hotel operations.
• Support inventory control, purchasing, and vendor coordination as assigned.
• Assist with inspections, audits, emergency procedures, and follow-up on corrective actions.
• Address operational issues and emergencies in a calm, timely, and professional manner.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle guest and team-member matters with discretion.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
