Job summary

Staybridge Suites Montgomery - Downtown, an IHG Hotel, is looking for a detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure guests enjoy a spotless stay. The role is full-time with a focus on leadership and guest service within a hotel environment.

Key responsibilities include safeguarding access to master and section keys, tracking room status, assigning daily cleaning tasks, and inspecting bedrooms and bathrooms to uphold high cleanliness standards. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Hotel housekeeping background; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• A passion for guest service and teamwork.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate secure sign-in/out procedures for master keys and section keys to maintain guest room access security.
• Monitor and report housekeeping productivity, tracking vacant dirty (VD) rooms at specified intervals to promptly address any concerns.
• Assign and oversee daily special cleaning tasks, ensuring extra attention is given to high dusting, low dusting, and coffee pot cleaning.
• Conduct general cleaning and inspections to maintain high cleanliness standards for bedspreads, tubs/tiles, and other areas.
