Job summary

Cedarhurst Living is seeking an Assistant Executive Director to lead daily operations, support financial management, and strengthen resident relations across the community. The AED will supervise the business office, assist with budgeting and reporting, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining strong communication with residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Two years of managerial experience in a senior care community or similar setting.
• Experience with accounts payable/receivable and basic budgeting is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee business office operations and assist with sales, tours, and events.
• Support budgeting, financial reporting, and payroll data submission to HR.
• Maintain resident and employee files and ensure compliant record-keeping.
• Serve as a primary contact for billing questions and resident communications.
