Morrison Healthcare, part of Compass Healthcare, seeks an Executive Chef III in Richmond, VA to oversee kitchen operations and direct meal preparation following corporate programs.

The role coordinates menu planning, staff training, and sanitation standards in a high-volume setting, with emphasis on quality, cost controls, and presentation. A strong candidate brings leadership and culinary excellence to a dynamic healthcare dining program.

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience.
• Three to five years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
• Experienced with computers; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, E-mail and Internet.
• Extensive catering experience a plus.
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience - highly desirable.
• ServSafe certified – highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee kitchen operations and direct meal preparation per corporate programs.
• Plan regular and modified menus per guidelines.
• Train kitchen staff in food prep, safety, and equipment operation.
• Establish and maintain cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment and areas.
• Maintain inventory within guidelines and ensure product availability.
• Ensure compliance with health and sanitation regulations; perform other duties as assigned.
