Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience in culinary/kitchen management.
• 5+ years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience preferred.
• Hands-on chef with strong knowledge of food cost controls and presentation.
• ServSafe certified is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plans regular and modified menus according to guidelines.
• Follows standardized recipes, portions, and presentation standards.
• Trains kitchen staff in food preparation, safety and sanitation.
• Maintains equipment, storage and work-area cleanliness and schedules.
• Maintains inventory and ensures product availability.
• Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations.
