Job summary

Morrison Healthcare seeks an Executive Chef to oversee kitchen operations, ensure safety compliance, and direct meal preparation aligned with corporate programs. This energetic culinary leader will manage menus, standards, and staff development in a busy environment.

You will build quality, cost controls, and excellent patient and caregiver dining experiences while mentoring teams and driving continuous improvement across kitchen operations.

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience with culinary/kitchen management.
• Minimum 3–5 years in progressive culinary/kitchen leadership.
• Extensive catering and high-volume foodservice experience preferred.
• Hands-on chef with strong focus on quality, sanitation, and cost controls.
• Proficient with computer tools (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook).
• ServSafe certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee kitchen operations and safety programs.
• Direct meal preparation per corporate guidelines and menus.
• Train staff on food prep, safety, and sanitation.
• Maintain cleaning, maintenance, and inventory systems.
• Ensure adherence to health regulations and audits.
• Lead meetings and staff development initiatives.
