Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, seeks an Executive Chef to lead kitchen operations for healthcare dining programs. You will plan menus, supervise staff, ensure safety and sanitation, and direct meal preparation in alignment with corporate standards.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in culinary/kitchen management, strong leadership, and hands-on chef experience in high-volume environments. ServSafe certification and proficiency with Microsoft Office are highly desirable as part of

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.
• High-volume, complex foodservice operations experience.
• Hands-on chef experience required.
• Knowledge of food cost controls, sanitation, and presentation.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• ServSafe certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plans regular and modified menus according to established guidelines.
• Follows standardized recipes, portioning and presentation standards; maintains worksheets and waste logs.
• Trains kitchen staff in food preparation, safety, and sanitation per standards.
• Establishes cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment and areas.
• Maintains inventory to ensure availability of products.
• Decides on leftover food utilization within guidelines.
• Ensures compliance with health and sanitation regulations and audits.
• Follows safety policies and participates in meetings and programs.
