Morrison Healthcare is seeking an Executive Chef to oversee kitchen operations, ensure safety, and deliver high-quality meals in a large healthcare setting. You will direct meal preparation in line with corporate programs and guidelines, and lead a culinary team with energy and entrepreneurship.

This role requires advanced culinary leadership, menu planning, waste control, staff training, and compliance with health regulations.

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience required.
• Proven experience in culinary/kitchen management, including high-volume operations.
• Experience with catering and institutional cooking is highly valued.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and cost controls.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic computer use.

Responsibilities

• Plans regular and modified menus according to established guidelines.
• Follows standardized recipes, portioning and presentation standards.
• Trains kitchen staff in food preparation, safety, and sanitation.
• Maintains cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment and areas.
• Manages inventory to ensure availability of products within guidelines.
• Makes decisions on leftover utilization within company policy.
• Ensures compliance with health regulations and safety policies.
• Participates in departmental meetings and staff development.
