Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience supporting a C-level executive as an Executive Assistant.
  • Previous experience supporting a CFO strongly preferred.
  • Experience in a fast-paced corporate environment; public company experience is a plus.
  • Strong calendar management, travel coordination, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional judgment, discretion, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands and work independently.
  • Comfortable managing up and respectfully holding an executive accountable.
  • Professional, confident, and able to remain above workplace drama.
  • Resourceful, solutions-oriented, and willing to roll up your sleeves and get things done.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred; HS diploma/GED with relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a complex and demanding executive calendar, including meetings and travel.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel and handle last‑minute changes.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare the CFO for meetings, presentations, earnings calls, and other high‑priority events.
  • Coordinate executive meetings, agendas, materials, notes, and follow‑up.
  • Support quarterly earnings calls, board‑related activities, and Finance initiatives.
  • Assist with presentations, reports, spreadsheets, and other executive communications.
  • Track priorities, deadlines, projects, and action items.
  • Manage confidential information and executive correspondence with discretion.
  • Handle expense reporting and provide occasional support to other senior leaders.

Executive Assistant to the CFO

Location: Downtown Denver, CO
Type: Direct Hire | Full-Time
Salary: $85,000–$106,000
Bonus: 25% STI
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Hybrid: Typically 1 remote day per week, based on business priorities

Reporting Structure

This position reports to the Administrative Manager while providing direct executive support to the CFO. The ability to thrive within this structure and collaborate effectively with the broader administrative and Finance teams is essential.

Position Overview

We are seeking a high-caliber Executive Assistant to support the Chief Financial Officer in a fast-paced, high-visibility corporate environment.

This role is ideal for a confident, proactive C-suite Executive Assistant who can manage a complex calendar, anticipate needs, make sound decisions independently, and confidently manage up. The CFO oversees Finance and IT, so this position will have exposure to senior leadership and critical business initiatives.

The ideal candidate is polished, resourceful, highly organized, discreet, and able to remain calm and focused under pressure. Experience supporting quarterly earnings calls, board reporting, financial reporting cycles, audit coordination, investor relations, and calibration sessions is highly valued.
