Our client, a leading healthcare organization in Boston, is seeking an experienced Senior Executive Assistant to support the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and select senior Finance leaders.
This is a high-visibility opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant who is comfortable working with C-suite executives, managing complex priorities, and handling highly confidential information. The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organized, and able to operate independently with excellent judgment and discretion.
Provide high-level executive support to the CFO and senior Finance leadership
Manage complex calendars, scheduling, meetings, and competing priorities
Anticipate executive needs and proactively resolve scheduling and logistical challenges
Coordinate executive leadership meetings, Board and committee meetings, and other high-level engagements
Prepare agendas, presentations, briefing materials, reports, and follow-up items
Draft and edit executive-level communications
Serve as a liaison between Finance leadership and internal and external stakeholders
Handle sensitive financial, operational, and organizational information with a high level of discretion
Coordinate executive travel and expense reporting
Support Finance-related deadlines and activities, including budgeting, forecasting, audits, and Board reporting
Track action items, deliverables, and deadlines to ensure follow-through
Assist with special projects, strategic initiatives, and process improvement efforts
Conduct research and prepare executive-ready summaries and materials
Collaborate with other Executive Assistants and help promote best practices across the organization
8+ years of Executive Assistant experience
Proven experience supporting C-suite or senior-level executives
Experience supporting a CFO or senior Finance leadership strongly preferred
Exceptional organizational, communication, and time-management skills
Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy, judgment, and discretion
Strong experience managing complex calendars and multiple competing priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate needs
Comfortable interacting with executives and senior-level stakeholders
Ability to remain composed and effective in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Experience with Board support, financial operations, audit processes, or similar activities is a plus
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
70,000–95,000 base salary, depending on experience
