Job summary

Cable Services Group is seeking a skilled equipment operator to support hydraulic excavation tasks for underground utilities including conduit, gas, water, sewer, and electric projects. You will load/unload gear, inspect equipment daily, and assist in placing utilities while following safety standards.

The role requires reading construction prints, traveling to sites as needed, lifting up to 50–80 pounds, and working 10+ hour days in varying weather. DOT and pre-employment screenings apply.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret engineering/construction prints.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.
• Ability to lift up to 50–80 pounds.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and DOT physical.
• One year of bore/drilling equipment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment securely.
• Transport tools, materials, and equipment safely.
• Perform daily equipment inspections.
• Operate equipment to place underground utilities.
• Identify utilities and verify with blueprints.
• Complete company documentation (timesheet, logs).
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Travel to project sites as needed.
