Job summary

Cable Services Group seeks a field-ready heavy equipment operator to support underground utilities installation and construction projects. You will load, transport, and operate hydraulic excavators and bore equipment, read blueprints, and verify utility locations on site.

Responsibilities include pre-shift inspections, safe operation in varied weather, occasional travel, and completing time and expense reports.

Qualifications

• Must understand engineering prints and blueprints.
• Able to perform pre-shift equipment inspections and safe operation.
• Willingness to travel for projects and work long hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload equipment securely and transport tools safely.
• Operate hydraulic excavation and bore equipment to install underground utilities.
• Read plans and verify utility depths and locations on site.
• Complete timesheets, logs, and expense reports.
• Adhere to safety policies and DOT/physical requirements.
