Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret engineering/construction prints, plans, and specifications.
• General knowledge of construction practices and utility depths/placements.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment in a manner that is secure and damage-free.
• Transport tools, materials, and equipment safely.
• Complete daily equipment inspections prior to use.
• Operate equipment to place underground utilities and follow blueprints.
• Locate utilities and verify distances per plans.
• Identify bore paths and connect/stub-up conduit and wire as required.
• Dig pits, trenches, or potholes and restore disturbed areas.
• Complete and maintain timesheets and vehicle logs.
• Adhere to safety policies and company standards.
