Job summary

Xanitos, Inc. in the Bay Area seeks an Environmental Services Project Manager to support hospital accounts nationwide.

This role requires 100% travel and hands-on start-up and operational experience under the direction of the Environmental Services Department Director. You will manage staff scheduling, training, inventory, and quality assurance, while guiding teams to meet deadlines and standards across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's preferred.
• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a service-related field with high customer/client contact.
• Vaccination against COVID-19 as a term of employment, unless a medical/religious exemption applies.
• Post-offer medical and background screening, including DMV check and drug test.
• 10 days on 4 days off travel schedule.
• Must reside in the Bay Area.

Responsibilities

• Participate in staff selection process. Interview candidates as needed.
• Assign personnel to established work areas or project duties.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and manage materials inventory and equipment.
• Ensure staff receives proper orientation, initial training, and ongoing education.
• Provide guidance and motivation to staff to perform at their best.
• Discipline associates according to progressive guidelines.
• Prepare disciplinary reports and follow up as required; conduct disciplinary meetings.
• Maintain an environment that is sanitary, attractive and orderly.
• Promote Xanitos culture, values and management philosophy.
• Demonstrate leadership in meeting performance plans.
