Yona Eagle in Connecticut is seeking a District Manager to lead housekeeping and laundry operations across several skilled nursing facilities in the district, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards.

You will coach facility managers, monitor resident satisfaction, and drive cost-effective programs while maintaining safe, clean environments. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and planning skills with a focus on quality care and regulatory compliance.

Qualifikationen

• Four year college degree (or equivalent) strongly desired; high school diploma acceptable.
• Two years’ experience in housekeeping services and multi-facility management in healthcare.
• Proficiency with Windows-based office software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Public speaking and excellent interpersonal skills.

Aufgaben

• Manages in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Visits each facility in the district to meet with managers and provide feedback on their performance.
• Maintains contact with clients to ensure satisfaction with services provided by Yona.
• Trains workers in housekeeping, laundry, and floor care procedures and proper operation of equipment.
• Supervises and evaluates the quality of work by Environmental Services Directors and Supervisors.
• Maintains sanitary, attractive, and orderly facilities at each site in the district.
• Forecasts and plans the purchase of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment.
• Interviews, hires, and orients Environmental Services Managers and Supervisors.
• Maintains staffing levels and knowledge of CBAs in the district.
• Attains financial goals by managing a cost-effective program and maintaining records.
