Job summary

Encore is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead floor operations, with a focus on customer service, staff development and AV technology. You will directly lead the technical team, ensuring operational efficiency and client satisfaction, and participate in location admin duties.

This role reports to the DET, DOO, or Operations Manager. Responsibilities include coordinating daily activities, training technicians, and ensuring security and safety procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of customer service or hospitality experience.
• 3–5 year of audio-visual experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members in positions that may operate Company vehicles.
• External applicants must meet/validate and achieve/complete all training and certifications within 60 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Organizes the daily floor activities to ensure timely setup, refresh and removal of equipment.
• Directs workflow of technicians and assists management with operational efficiencies.
• Maintains flowsheets and coordinates event communications.
• Attends venue meetings and ensures guests' needs are met and equipment works properly.
• Trains technicians on floor activities and organizational standards.
• Oversees setup, operation and breakdown of AV equipment; performs preventative maintenance.
