Job summary

Encore is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead floor operations with a focus on customer service, staff leadership and development. The role directs the technical team to ensure operational efficiency and guest satisfaction during events, while participating in location administrative duties to support onsite operations and career development.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
3–5 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
3–5 years of audio-visual experience required.
External applicants must complete all training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
Internal applicants must meet training/certification requirements per Encore’s program.
Knowledge of technical theory.
Advanced problem-solving skills.
Experience leading workflow and team members.
Valid driver’s license required for roles operating company vehicles.
DOT requirements may apply.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Organizes the daily floor activities to ensure timely setup, refresh and removal of equipment.
Directs the workflow of technicians and suggests operational efficiencies to management and Workforce.
Ensure flowsheets are updated and properly completed.
Coordinate communications for event management.
Attend venue meetings as needed (e.g., daily banquet event order, pre/post conferences).
