Job summary

Encore is seeking an Operations Supervisor in a hotel/convention center environment to lead floor operations with a focus on customer service, staff leadership, and development. You will supervise the technical team to ensure operational efficiencies and customer satisfaction during events.

The role requires 3-5 years in hospitality and AV, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage equipment setup, safety, and on-site issues.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 3-5 years of audio-visual experience required.
• Internal/External training and certifications may be required within 60 days.
• Knowledge of technical theory and advanced problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily floor activities to ensure timely setup, refresh and removal of equipment.
• Direct technicians and suggest operational efficiencies to venue management.
• Train technicians on floor activities and Encore standards.
• Lead setup, operation and breakdown of AV equipment; troubleshoot issues quickly.
