Job summary

Encore is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead floor operations with a focus on customer service, staff leadership and development. You will directly supervise the technical team to ensure operational efficiency and top-notch guest satisfaction, while assisting with on-site administrative duties and career development.

The role reports to the DET, DOO, or Operations Manager and requires experience in hospitality and AV, with a preferred Bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 3–5 years of audio-visual experience required.
• Must complete training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
• Knowledge of technical theory and advanced problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Organizes the daily floor activities to ensure timely setup, refresh and removal of equipment.
• Directs workflow of technicians and suggests operational efficiencies.
• Ensures flowsheets are updated and properly completed.
• Establishes coordinated communications for event management.
• Attends venue meetings as needed (daily banquet event orders, pre/post conferences).
