MAJC’s Catering & Events team in Houston is seeking a proactive Coordinator to bring memorable experiences to Members and their guests. You will partner with the Catering & Events Director and Executive Chef to plan, price, and execute a range of events from intimate gatherings to large celebrations.

The role emphasizes relationship building, superb service, attention to detail, and collaboration with vendors and staff to ensure flawless execution and memorable experiences for Members.

Qualificações

• Personable, organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with Members, guests, vendors, and team members.
• College degree in hospitality management, catering sales, or related field preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Build relationships with Members and prospective clients and promote catering services.
• Plan and coordinate a variety of events, from luncheons to weddings and social celebrations.
• Develop menus and pricing with the Catering & Events Director and Executive Chef.
• Coordinate event details, signage, decorations, and vendors to ensure smooth execution.
• Prepare and distribute Banquet Event Orders with timelines and layouts.
• Create room layouts and coordinate event setups for attractive spaces.
• Oversee event execution and service with Club staff for exemplary guest experiences.
• Maintain records of past and prospective events and identify opportunities for future business.
• Assist with budget tracking, financial reporting, and event billing.
