Job summary

Encore Global in Orlando is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead floor operations, focus on customer service, and supervise the technical team to ensure efficiency and client satisfaction. The role may involve location admin duties and reports to the DET, DOO, or Operations Manager.

You will participate in trainings, mentor new hires, and maintain security and safety for all equipment. The position requires AV experience, strong problem-solving, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 3–5 years of audio-visual experience is required.
• External applicants must meet all training/certification requirements within 60 days of start date.
• Internal applicants must meet company training/certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Organizes daily floor activities to ensure timely setup, refresh, and removal of equipment.
• Directs technician workflow and suggests operational efficiencies.
• Ensure flowsheets are updated and communications for event management are coordinated.
• Provide excellent customer service and build positive client relationships on site.
• Train technicians on floor activities and company standards.
• Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and breakdown AV equipment; perform preventative maintenance.
