Job summary

Encore Global in Florida is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead floor operations, supervise a technical team, and support onsite event execution. You will drive customer satisfaction, supervise technicians, and assist with venue administration as needed.

The role emphasizes staff development, event technology, and adherence to Encore’s service standards. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lbs are required as part of the capacity to manage equipment and staff during events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 3-5 years of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 3-5 year of audio-visual experience is required.
• External applicants must meet/validate and achieve/complete all training and certifications required for this position within 60 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Organizes the daily floor activities to ensure the timely set up, refresh and removal of equipment.
• Directs the workflow of technicians and assists management with suggestions for operational efficiencies.
• Maintains flowsheets and ensures proper completion.
• Meets with guests on site to ensure needs are met and equipment works properly.
• Provides training to technicians on floor activities and Encore standards.
• Responsible for setup, operation, and breakdown of intermediate audiovisual equipment.
