Job summary

Encore Global in Orlando is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead floor operations, ensure excellent customer service, and guide the technical team to deliver seamless event experiences. The role includes on-site leadership, staff development, and collaboration with venue management.

Responsibilities include coordinating equipment setup, overseeing AV workflows, mentoring new hires, and maintaining safety and security of equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 3-5 years of audio-visual experience required.
• External applicants must meet training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
• Internal applicants must meet training/certification requirements per Encore’s program.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Organizes daily floor activities to ensure timely setup, refresh and removal of equipment.
• Directs technicians’ workflow and suggests operational efficiencies to venue management.
• Ensures flowsheets are updated and accurately completed.
• Maintains strong client relationships through effective on-site communication.
• Provides training and mentorship to new technicians on floor activities and standards.
• Responsible for setup, operation, and breakdown of intermediate audiovisual equipment.
