Job summary

International Mission Board seeks an Event Technology Associate to support virtual, hybrid, and in‑person events through innovative event technology solutions. You will build and manage registration sites, event websites, and mobile apps using Cvent while coordinating with planners and marketing teams to meet event goals.

You will also support technology platforms, analyze data, and train staff on tools and best practices, with occasional domestic and international travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least three years in event technology, event management, or project coordination.
• Minimum one year in event technology administration, preferably with Cvent.
• Ability to communicate professionally with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience supporting technology-driven events and registration platforms.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration platforms.
• Experience with SharePoint, Forms, Lists, and Smartsheet.
• Cvent certifications preferred (Event Management, Event Management Advanced, and/or Attendee Hub).
• Occasional domestic and international travel required.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain event registration sites, event websites, and mobile apps using Cvent.
• Support implementation and management of event technology platforms (Cvent, SharePoint).
• Collaborate with planners, marketing teams, and stakeholders to align tech with event goals.
• Monitor timelines, deliverables, and technical requirements for multiple events.
• Provide technical support before and during events.
• Manage and analyze event data, producing reports and recommendations.
• Maintain data integrity and security across platforms.
• Create user guides, process docs, and training materials.
• Train team members on event tech tools and processes.
