Job summary

AMG & Associates, Inc. seeks an accomplished Event Manager to lead the planning and execution of in-person, virtual, and hybrid events. You will own the lifecycle from concept to post-event evaluation, managing budgets, vendors, venues, and technology while collaborating cross-functionally to deliver polished experiences.

You will engage employees, clients, partners, and stakeholders, coordinating onsite attendance 2–3 days per week and supporting major events with extended onsite presence.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of relevant experience in event management, corporate events, conferences, meetings, or related fields.
• Proven experience managing events independently from planning through completion.
• Experience with both physical and virtual events.
• Strong project-management and organizational skills.
• Experience managing vendors, budgets, timelines, and multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead events from concept and planning through execution and post-event evaluation.
• Develop event strategies, timelines, budgets, production plans, and checklists.
• Manage in-person conferences, meetings, executive events, workshops, and corporate programs.
• Plan and execute virtual and hybrid events, including webinars and online meetings.
• Coordinate venues, catering, audiovisual, registration, speakers, staffing, and tech needs.
• Oversee vendors, contracts, deliverables, and performance to ensure quality.
• Maintain budgets and ensure spending aligns with approved plans.
• Partner with Marketing and leadership to support event objectives and engagement.
• Oversee onsite execution and act as main point of contact during live events.
• Coordinate rehearsals, speakers, and production teams for smooth delivery.
• Anticipate issues and resolve problems quickly during events.
• Measure performance, gather feedback, and drive continuous improvements.
