Job summary

AMG & Associates, Inc. seeks an experienced Event Manager to lead the planning and execution of in-person, virtual, and hybrid events. You will turn concepts into polished experiences and collaborate across the organization to align strategy, budgets, vendors, logistics, and technology.

You'll own events from planning through completion, manage budgets, partner with Marketing and leadership, and ensure top-notch attendee experiences across all formats. Hybrid work and travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of relevant experience in event management or related fields.
• Experience leading events from planning through execution.
• Experience with both physical and virtual events.
• Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage vendors, budgets, timelines, and priorities.
• Comfort working with executives, clients, speakers, and cross-functional teams.
• Onsite availability 2–3 days per week; travel as needed.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead events from concept to execution and post-event evaluation.
• Develop event strategies, timelines, budgets, production plans, and checklists.
• Manage in-person conferences, meetings, executive events, workshops, networking events, and corporate programs.
• Plan and execute virtual and hybrid events, including webinars and online meetings.
• Coordinate venues, catering, audiovisual, registration, speakers, staffing, and other event requirements.
• Manage event vendors, contracts, deliverables, and performance.
• Maintain event budgets and ensure spending remains aligned with approved plans.
• Partner with Marketing, Communications, leadership, and other teams to support event objectives and audience engagement.
• Oversee onsite execution and serve as the central point of contact during live events.
• Coordinate virtual rehearsals, technical preparation, speakers, moderators, and production teams.
• Anticipate potential issues and resolve problems quickly during event execution.
• Measure event performance, gather feedback, and continuously improve future events.
