Job summary

Encore in Jersey City is seeking an Associate Event Technology Manager to lead delivery of event technology solutions, including registration websites, event platforms, and data management, working closely with clients and internal event delivery teams.

You will configure, test, and support systems, produce accurate reporting in Excel, manage databases, and provide onsite support at live events, with travel required and hybrid/on-site expectations.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of experience in attendee data management and event technology.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with event registration platforms (Cvent, Splash, Certain, Aventri, Eventbrite) and virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, WebEx, Intrado, GlobalMeet).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation and project management of event registration websites, mobile apps, and related platforms for assigned events.
• Serve as primary client contact on event tech matters and provide platform recommendations based on objectives.
• Configure, test, and execute event tech systems while balancing multiple projects and timelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues remotely and onsite with sound judgment.
• Act as lead onsite Event Technology representative during live events when assigned.
• Manage technology-related client communications, including invites, registrations, and post-event surveys.
• Oversee database/list management, generate registration reports and event analytics.
• Coordinate production of tech-enabled event materials (badges, signage, agendas).
• Collaborate with Event Delivery, Production, and Content teams to integrate tech into overall logistics.
• Assist with budget inputs for technology costs and post-event reconciliation.
• Design registration desk flow and onsite setup to ensure smooth check-in experiences.
• Maintain comprehensive event documentation and records for audits and SOPs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the Event Technology function.
