Job summary

Encore Event Center is seeking an Event Houseman to prepare, arrange, and clear venue spaces for conferences, weddings, and events. The role involves setting up tables and chairs, loading and unloading equipment, and ensuring safety compliance throughout setup and teardown.

Responsibilities include coordinating with event staff and vendors, managing move-in/move-out logistics, and maintaining inventory while upholding high standards of service for guests and clients in indoor/outdoor venues in

• Collaborating with event coordinators, other staff members, and vendors.
• Execute tasks under tight timelines and changing schedules.

Responsibilities

• Venue Setup: Arranging tables, chairs, decorations, and equipment according to floor plans and layout instructions.
• Logistics & Equipment: Unloading, assembling, and installing furniture, stages, audiovisual equipment, and lighting.
• Breakdown & Cleanup: Removing furniture, clearing debris, and cleaning the venue after the event concludes.
• Inventory Management: Checking inventory before and after the event to ensure equipment is accounted for and undamaged.
• Safety Adherence: Following fire codes and safety regulations during all setup and breakdown procedures.
