Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality setting. You will ensure client satisfaction by coordinating on-site needs, troubleshooting equipment, and supporting event execution.

You will interact with guests, manage equipment, and complete systems entry and invoicing in Navigator. A valid driver's license and basic AV experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required. Associate’s degree is preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic AV equipment as listed in the qualifications.
• Exceed expectations of internal and external customers.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients through effective communication.
• Meet with guests on site to ensure needs are met and equipment works properly.
• Monitor events and check in with customers throughout the day.
• Troubleshoot and solve equipment/software issues; handle changes professionally.
• Complete system entry and paperwork accurately; use Navigator for orders when needed.
• Interact with staff and vendors for equipment; increase revenue with up-selling.
• Work with clients to finalize invoices.
