Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment. You will ensure complete customer satisfaction by coordinating with guests and hotel staff and by delivering reliable AV support.

The role emphasizes on-site presence, strong communication, and basic troubleshooting of AV equipment, with opportunities to interact with clients and contribute to successful events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• A valid driver’s license required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensures a flawlessly executed event through accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of basic audiovisual equipment.
• Maintains a positive relationship with all clients through effective communication.
• Meets with guests on site to ensure that their needs are met and the equipment setup is working properly.
• Monitors events and checks in on customers throughout the day.
• Understands and fosters the hotel/client relationship.
• Completes order entries in Navigator, as needed.
