Job summary

BEST Crowd Management is seeking an Event Staff/Security to join the team at the University of Idaho. As part-time staff, you will greet attendees, assist with setup, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment at events.

You should be 18+, have a HS diploma (some college preferred), and bring strong communication and reliability. This role offers flexible hours aligned with event schedules and opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• HS diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Experience in customer service or event-related roles is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as per event schedule.
• Physical stamina to stand and move for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist event attendees with a friendly, helpful demeanor.
• Help with event setup, equipment arrangement, and signage placement.
• Monitor venues for cleanliness, order, and policy compliance.
• Answer questions about the event and facilities.
• Direct attendees to seating, restrooms, concessions, and exits.
• Resolve inquiries and issues professionally and promptly.
• Collaborate with staff and vendors for smooth operations.
• Assist with crowd-control measures when needed.
• Follow company policies to maintain high service standards.
