Job summary

BEST Crowd Management is seeking an Event Services Staff member to join our customer-focused team at the University of Idaho. You will greet attendees, assist with setup, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment during events.

This part-time role pays 18 USD per hour with flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends. Prior customer service or hospitality experience is advantageous; you should communicate clearly, remain calm under pressure, and collaborate effectively with staff

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old and able to work part-time.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college optional.
• Experience in customer service or events is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to stay calm in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist event attendees with a friendly demeanor.
• Assist with event setup and crowd management.
• Monitor areas for cleanliness and policy compliance.
• Direct attendees to seating, restrooms, concessions, and exits.
• Handle inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
• Collaborate with staff and vendors to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with crowd control as needed.
• Uphold company policies and deliver high-quality service.
