Job summary

BEST Crowd Management is hiring for an Event Services Staff member at the University of Idaho. This part-time role focuses on greeting attendees, assisting with setup, guiding guests, and maintaining a positive, safe event experience.

Ideal candidates are 18+ with a HS diploma or equivalent, strong communication, reliability, and a willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as events require. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or event-related roles is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting event attendees with a friendly and helpful demeanor.
• Assist with event set-up, including equipment arrangement and signage placement.
• Monitor event areas to ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and compliance with venue policies.
• Answer questions and provide information about the event, facilities, and amenities to attendees.
• Direct attendees to seating areas, restrooms, concession stands, and exits.
• Handle and resolve customer inquiries and issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Collaborate with event staff, vendors, and team members to ensure smooth event operations.
• Assist with crowd control measures to maintain a safe environment.
• Adhere to company policies to uphold professionalism and service excellence.
