Job summary

BEST Crowd Management is seeking part-time Event Staff/Security at the University of Idaho to deliver exceptional customer service during events. You will greet attendees, assist with setup, monitor areas for safety, and provide information about the venue.

Ideal candidates are 18+, have a high school diploma, and possess strong communication skills with a flexible schedule for evenings and weekends. Training and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college encouraged.
• Previous customer service or event-related experience is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist event attendees with a friendly, helpful demeanor.
• Assist with event set-up, including equipment and signage placement.
• Monitor event areas for cleanliness, order, and policy compliance.
• Answer questions and provide information about the event and facilities.
• Direct attendees to seating, restrooms, concessions, and exits.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, or issues professionally.
• Collaborate with event staff, vendors, and team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with crowd control as needed to maintain safety.
• Adhere to company policies and uphold professionalism and service excellence.
