Driftwood Hospitality Management in Appleton, WI is seeking a dedicated banquet setup associate to manually set up, break down, and service all meeting rooms to our high standards.

Candidates will work flexible shifts in a fast-paced hotel environment, with an emphasis on attention to detail, safety, and guest satisfaction. The role involves lifting heavy items, coordinating with supervisors, and ensuring rooms are ready for the next function.

Qualifications

• Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Knowledge of table settings and service ware; equipment and setup styles.
• Basic English to understand inquiries and communicate simple instructions.
• Ability to follow written product labeling instructions to enable safe application of products and processes.
• Ability to operate beverage equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up all meeting rooms to guest specifications.
• Break down meeting rooms after events and return to storage.
• Maintain cleaning schedule for meeting rooms and ballrooms.
• Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and water.
• Maintain storage rooms and assist banquet personnel as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards.
