Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Banquet Set Up role to manually arrange and service meeting rooms to the hotel’s high standards. The role requires substantial physical activity, including lifting heavy items and transporting materials between storage and event spaces.

The position operates in a 24/7 hotel environment with varying shifts. Candidates should be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of following safety procedures and department standards.

Qualifications

• Hold a current Food Handler Card.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards and guest etiquette.
• Knowledge of table settings and service ware; familiar with different setup styles.

Responsibilities

• Set up meeting rooms per guest specifications, including moving heavy items.
• Break down rooms after events and return items to storage.
• Replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and water.
• Maintain cleanliness of meeting rooms and ballrooms.
• Keep storage areas organized and restock as needed.
• Follow safety, security, and department policies at all times.
