Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a banquet server to assist with setup and breakdown of event spaces, and to provide courteous, professional service for guests during functions. Responsibilities include setting up linen, service ware, and glassware, greeting guests, serving food and beverages, and ensuring consistency throughout the banquet.

The role requires knowledge of safety rules and proper etiquette, with flexibility in shifts due to round-the-clock hotel operations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages where applicable.
• Must hold a current Food Handler Card.
• Basic knowledge of food/beverage preparation, service standards and guest etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet room with linen, service ware and glassware as instructed.
• Attend pre-event stand up meetings to learn function details and guest expectations.
• Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Serve food and/or beverages in order and to the Banquet Captain's standards.
• Bus dishes promptly after each course and replenish beverages as needed.
