The role involves physical work such as moving tables, chairs, and equipment, plus maintaining clean, organized service areas and coordinating with supervisors for shift needs. Flexibility for varied hours is required in a bustling hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Hold a current Food Handler Card and maintain basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
• Must understand guest relations and etiquette in a hospitality setting.
• Familiar with standard meeting room setups and service ware.
• Ability to communicate in English and follow written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up meeting rooms according to guest specifications, including moving tables, chairs, and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage and back hall areas.
• Break down rooms after events and return items to storage for the next function.
• Restock supplies in meeting rooms and ensure water and glassware are replenished.
• Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions or accidents to supervision.
• Coordinate with supervisor to stay informed about shift requirements and tasks.
